Radprofi Nikia's Arndt has won the fifth stage of Poland tour and thus celebrated his first victory for almost two years. The 29-year-old DSM professional from the Lower Saxon Buchholz sat down on Friday after a challenging 172.8 km between Chocholov and Bielsko-Biala in the sprint of a nearly 20-member top group in front of the Slovenian Master Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious). Arndt, for whom it was the seventh victory as a professional, had recently won a Vuelta stage on August 31, 2019. At the Giro, the strong all-rounder in May in two third places and fourth place was just past a victory. The overall leadership claimed the Portuguese Joao Almeida (Deceuninck-Quick Step), which, however, is only two seconds in front of Mohoric - the Tour StapSesser conceded six seconds time credit.
