The Simpsons Hit & Run: The new showrunner would like to make it a remill, but ...

Out of the episodes Vice City and San Andreas of the Saga Grand Theft Auto, The Simpsons Hit & Run parodied the universe of Rockstar with its replicas that fly and its meta reflections. As with the latest games, some permanent screenwriters of the series participated in writing this action and singular driving game, including Matt Selman, now Showrunner of the series alongside history. and Indeboulonable Al Jean.

Baby You Can't Drive My Car

Asked by our colleagues of IGN on the future season 33, Selman also returned to the Hit & Run case:

We all played to GTA at that time, and the publisher just wanted to get out a racing game. They were explained that everyone was playing in GTA, and people wanted to get out of their cars! The fight was fierce to get out of this scheme, but I think it was worth it.

Go to why, Hit & Run seems to enjoy a certain popularity with players and managers, since the producer of the game Vlad Ceraldi mentioned 2019 his desire for a remake, nearly 20 years after the exit of the original . Today, it's Selman who gives a room into the machine (at banknotes?):

I will love to see a remastered version of The Simpsons Hit & Run, really. But if it happened, we should unravel a pile of sprawling procedures.

If we obviously think about the rights and assets of the game developed in its time by Radical Entertainment, Selman is careful not to specify a weight detail, which could quite quite : since the season 32, broadcast from From September 2020 on the Fox, the voices of many characters such as Carl, Dr. Hibbert or (obviously) APU changed, Hank Azaria and his game camards having preferred to leave them to others, for S ' Avoid recurring criticism for several years. When you know that Hit & Run offers a prominent role to the Sieur Nahasapeemapetilon, we quickly understand why we must not count it too much ...

_What do you think Matt Selman's desire? What game The Simpsons would you like to come out? Tell us about your Cartoonesque opinions in the comments below ... and see you on September 26 for the first broadcast of the 33rd season! _
