With regard to MMORPGs, in recent years have seen big upheavals in the status quo. Formerly the best MMO world dog, World of Warcraft has been declining since the output of a disastrous hotfix, leaving the first ripe place for picking. Final Fantasy XIV sought it, with a massive increase in the number of players powered by the refugees from Wow, and Amazon started with the exit of his own MMO, New World. However, a new approach of the genre seems ready to storm the world of MMOs, as Bitcraft revealed by the Independent Clockwork Labs team.
Bitcraft is a community-sand mmo, focused on teamwork and construction rather than combat. Players coexist in a procedural and fully editable world, where Clockwork Labs worked to give them as much freedom as possible. Exploration of ancient ruins to the construction of your own civilizations, Bitcraft promises to be one of the most in-depth community mmo we have ever seen.
Co-founder of Clockwork Labs We are delighted that players can now register at the pre-alpha of Bitcraft. This is a really ambitious mmo, which focuses on leaving players playing as they wish, rather than holding them through the hand through the content. You can cultivate a comfortable village, manage your own complex farm or be part of a much larger empire of connected towns. The property of what this world becomes is really in the hands of our players.
Bitcraft should be a multiplatform title, but the PC version will be the first to be launched. The pre-alpha phase should begin later this fall, the inscriptions being open now on the Bitcraft website! More novelties will soon be available - it is certainly a game that we will keep an eye!
