Manfred Stephen is now the new co-trainer Prefers. The 54-year-old replaces Thomas Small, who was released. Stephen, most recently co-trainer under Lucien Favre near Borussia Dortmund, has signed a contract by 2023 and was presented on Monday the team.
The native Korschenbroicher has a Düsseldorf past: In the nineties he laced the football boots for the Fortuna for a season. He also played for Borussia Mönchengladbach. As a coach, he worked in various positions for the Gladbacher, also for the MTV Duisburg and most recently at the BVB.
More balanced composition is sought
