Gavin Rayburn, the director and co-founder of Playground Games, has announced his march of the British study.
The news has become public through a brief official communiqué of Microsoft, from which central Windows has been echoed.
Rayburn, from which the next destination of him is unknown, leaves the company he co-founded in 2009 converted into one of Microsoft's most important studies, after publishing five deliveries of the successful Fora Horizon saga. The last, Fora Horizon 5, was one of the most outstanding video games of 2021, and currently work also in a new fable.
Despite being known from the public by the work of it in Fora Horizon, Rayburn is a veteran with a long experience in the industry. He previously worked twenty-four years in Code masters, starting at the time of Commodore 64 and participating in the development of titles such as Dirt, Grid or F1.
Trevor Williams, another of the founders of Playground (next to Ralph Button), will be in charge of replacing Rayburn at the position of Director.
Alan Hartman, CVP of Fora and Fable in Microsoft, has declared that after twelve years working in five award-winning Fora Horizon games, Gavin Rayburn leaves Playground Games as director of the study.
As a founder of Playground Games, we thank GAV the leadership and contributions from him to the Fora franchise, and we wish him the best.
