Throughout Thursday, the GTA Trilogy — definite edition came to the market. However, the first big euphoria was flown quickly, because at least on the PC ended the launch in a huge chaos. It is not the case of the game collection itself, but a technical problem with great impact.
Chaos at the GTA Trilogy on the PC — what happened?
Rockstar Games had shut down the servers for the Rock star Launcher on yesterday evening for maintenance. Normally they take only a few hours. But this time everything is a bit different: Even twelve hours after the beginning of the work, the servers of the Launcher are not available.
That does not only annoy the fans of GTA Trilogy, but has far-reaching effects.
Because without the server, the launcher and thus also the PC versions of all other rock star games do not work. The failure therefore also concerns such tracks such as Red Dead Redemption 2 or GTA 5. Accordingly, not only the buyers of GTA Trilogy are currently looking stupid from the laundry. Rockstar Games has reported with a message on the official website:
We thank you for your patience and understanding, while we continue to be at work to restore the service for the Rockstar Games Launcher and supported games.
GTA Trilogy in the Rockstar Games Shop Not downloadable
If you want to buy the digital version of GTA Trilogy — definite edition in the Rockstar Games online shop for the PC, you are currently looking into the tube. Apparently, the developers have taken the PC version of the game from the offer.
There are currently only the possibility for a pre-order. Perhaps Rockstar Games wants to avoid further trouble of customers who buy the collection and can not play due to the launcher problems.
