Black Rock Shooter is back with a new anime and a whole new video game. Coming on Disney + in April, Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall will arrive 12 years after the OVA release and 10 years after the diffusion of the original anime. In parallel with the new series, Black Rock Shooter Fragment will come out next fall, a derived mobile game based on the new series.
G2 Studios announced the next mobile game on Twitter last night, with an image of the main character teasing the game. The studio has experience in this space, having developed My Hero Academia: Ultra Impact and more. In addition, it will not be the first video based on the Black Rock Shooter franchise, making an appearance on PSP more than 10 years ago.
While Dakota Fulani and Rio Origami will write the next Anime Disney +, there will be another group that will write the story of this game. Cairo Sakai, creator of Scrapped Princess and Outbreak Company, will write the main scenario and the framework of the game.
The design of the game will be fully supervised by Huge, the Creator of the franchise, as a supervisor of the design of the game. And on the basis of the new Teaser image, Black Rock Shooter Fragment promises to be a visually impressive game.
There are not many more details available at the moment. However, as the game progresses in development, we should find more details. You can consult the official game site to stay up to date because more details are inevitably published.
Maybe the future anime will give us an index about the scenario? But it will probably be completely different while remaining in the same universe. Share your theories in the comments below.
