Steam Deck teaches its cover and packing box a couple of months for commercial launch

This month of December was the date marked by Valve to send the first Steam Deck remittance to your buyers. It was not like that, and the current situation of the world market forced the US company to delay at the beginning of 2022 the commercial distribution of the portable hardware. Meanwhile, Half-Life parents have wanted to share images of packing and device cover.

Opening Up A Steam Deck At first glance, users will find a pretty minimalist cardboard box and without a lot of history, unless you are amateur the portal series and discover their winks. Please, you do not use the shipping box as umbrella, not lances against the ground and do not use it as a magnet, warn with sympathy from Valve in a statement. Likewise, within it includes the usual, an instruction manual, a Steam Deck, the cover, and an appropriate power supply to the shipping country.

On the cover, which we can also see in images, there is not much to be highlighted either, it has a black finish and protects the hardware. It makes its function.

Steam Deck Update

On the other hand, Valve has shared an update on how everything goes with the hardware, ensuring that they have completed the design validation tests (DV) for Steam Deck. The DV is the last prototype before the final production, and includes improvements with respect to the EV2 version. There will also be other minor changes in the final product, explain in a statement. That's all for now. We will start sending this kits batch to developers very soon.

A few days ago we knew that from Valve they do not consider developing exclusive adventures for Steam Deck by not seeing a practical sense.
