After rise & shine released in 2017, the Studio Super Mega Team returns with a new title, The Knight Witch. Scheduled for 2022, the game published by Team17 will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
The Knight Witch presents itself as an adventure game with Metroidvania style and Shoot’em Up combat. You will play Rayne, an adorable little witch with whom you will help the inhabitants of Dungeonidas. The various exploits made for residents will make you gain in power, in particular thanks to their gratitude and the confidence they place in you.
Use your weapons or launch spells to defeat your enemies. As Knight Witch, you will master the two combat styles, in addition to a very practical flight capacity. So it's up to you to choose your preference. You will be able to personalize your magic with more than 30 unique release cards in a deck-building system. Or improve the capabilities on your Knight side, and fully dive into the Shoot’Em Up experience.
The Knight Witch wants to be an accessible metroidvania. With its disabled automatic aiming system and its multiple help options, the game should be adjustable according to the level and taste of the players.
