Easter Egg (English for Easter egg) is a name for a surprise peculiarity in media as well as computer system programs. For example, forms are the SCREEN software application or secret level of a video game.
One of the most amazing elements of arcane has been the gigantic number of references and Easter Eggs that have been included in the series. Most of them intended to relate the fiction of Netflix with League of Legends in one way or another. There are so many that it is very complicated to be able to discover them all, especially when it comes to those who are not related to the video game and respond to other creative ambitions.
The 19th century painting honored in Arcane
One of the tributes that most excited to the Riot Games team had been showing from the promotional arts and has gone unnoticed for years. It is a reference that also appears during the series, and it tries to recreate in one of the scenes of Arcane a free version of the fallen angel chart by Alexandre Cabinet. A painting that, in a way, already told us a few things about the future of the Arcane plot (from here, Spoilers to chapter 3).
The picture in question tries to represent the lost paradise and the scene in Arcane arrives at the same time that Powder resizes his sister to finish becoming jinx, leaving behind innocence and going to work side by elbow with SYL CO. A situation that reaches, in addition, after disobeying the orders of the older sister of him. Perfect context to show the exact point of the fall of it in disgrace and all the events that will come next.
When this possible reference was indicated by the community, one of the Riot Games workers who have participated in the series assured that of course it had been introduced on purpose and even showed him the surprise of him for how much he had taken to be Discovered. It should be remembered that similar images were already showed in promotional content and the first chapters of Arcane take time in the air.
